Introduction to In-Line SkatingSEP

The introduction to inline skating is safe, fun and interactive. The concept of safety, balance and safety falling is communicated to our students. After which, static movement is introduced before progression onto basic dynamic movements. Students will be taught to skate smoothly and safely with greater control and stability.

Innotrek programmes focuses on Experiential Learning Methodology– the coaches will facilitate the sessions to develop students with positive character building, which essential for all sportsmen. This include positive communication, positive solving, decision-making, interpersonal relationships, teamwork, as well as boosting their confidence, self awareness, self-reliance, discipline and leadership skills.

Duration: 1 Session of 1.5 Hours

 

At the end of each session, coaches will dedicate time to facilitate these learning objectives:

  • To develop new skills, arose interest and promote active participation of a new sport.
  • To introduce In-Line Skating as a sport to student through exposure and participation.
  • To introduce basic techniques of proper In-Line Skating, In-Line Skating  equipment & the safety aspects of In-Line Skating to students.
  • To promote positive character building and boosting self-esteem
  • To create camaraderie amongst participants though exploration.
  • 
To foster safety mindset.
  • To step out of comfort zone.
  • To have fun in sports.

Basics of In-Line SkatingSEP

Inline figure skating is a branch of roller figure skating (often called artistic skating) which has emerged as a competitive discipline in its own right very slowly. Some ice skaters use figure skating on inlines as an inexpensive cross-training activity, and some ice coaches are even involved in competitive inline figure activities.
