Mai Chau is the heart of a beautiful valley that is a world away from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. The modern village is an unappealing sprawl, but as you emerge on the rice fields and rural living it is transformed into a real paradise. It’s a stunning area.

The Queen of the Mountains, Sapa sits regally overlooking a beautiful valley, lofty mountains towering over the town on all sides. Welcome to the destination in northwest Vietnam, gateway to another world of mysterious minority cultures and luscious landscapes.

Bac Ha Market has one of the most interesting ethnic markets in Vietnam and possibly everywhere in South East Asia: “Sunday is market day in Bac Ha, which is the occasion for the various local ethnics to gather in huge crowds to exchange the last news, gossip, shop, and eat a copious lunch. It was visibly a festive event. I was surrounded in a sea of color, and had the feeling to be on a movie set.

Thac Ba Lake – This artificial lake has an area of 23,400 ha and 1,331 islands and hills with diverse ecological environments. The water in the lake is blue and clear, and imprinted with the reflections of the surrounding ancient forest. The thousands of hills and islands feature caves such as the Hum, Cau Cuoi and Bach Xa. The Thac Ba Temple always draws visitors.

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to the hotel for check in..Our guide will provide you with some information of the Vietnam motorcycle tours, Vietnam traffic rules, the bikes…Free at leisure.

Day 2: Hanoi – Mai Chau Valley (160 km, 4 hours riding)

Today starts the tour to Mai Chau Valley. Once out of the Red River Delta, which brims with traditional farming activity, we pass through limestone monoliths and into foothills populated by Muong people. We head straight at the main range before breaching a high and beautiful forested pass, which descends into the hidden valley of Mai Chau where we spend the night with friends in a traditional Thai stilt house in a Thai village.

Day 3: Mai Chau – Phu yen (200 km, 6 hours riding)

Say goodbye to the family, we continue our trip to Phu Yen, a small lovely town inhabited by many ethnic villages around. Tonight, we stay in Phu Yen

Day 4: Phu yen – Nghia Lo – Mu Cang Chai – Than Uyen (200 km, 7 hours riding)

We leave Phu Yen for Than Uyen with the first stop in Mu Cang Chai where you will have an opportunity to see one of the most amazing terraced rice fields and roadside ethnic markets. Continue on stunning road to Than Uyen where will stay in a guest house.

Day 5: Than Uyen – Sapa Tour (110 km, 6 hours riding)

Morning drive to Sa Pa, during your way, you will see many different ethnic villages of the Lao, Lu, Black Dao, Tien Dao, Day, Red H’mong before driving up to the highest pass in Vietnam-Hoang Lien Son. Stop over on top that called “Heaven Gate” for a wonderful view down to amazing valley and FanXiPan-the highest mount in Indochina (Roof of Vietnam). You also visit “Silver Waterfall”-the nicest one in the area before getting to Sapa. After the break, we drive to Ta Van village of the Black H’mong and Day people. The village itself is located at the bottom of picturesque Muong Hoa valley. Tonight, we stay overnight in the homestay with the locals.

Day 6: Ta Van – Sapa (10 km, 30 minutes riding)

After breakfast, we  ride back to Sapa. Check in hotel and free day at leisure to rest and explore Sapa on own.

Day 7: Sapa – Bac Ha Market (120 km, 4 hours riding)

The markets in the Northern Vietnam are always the colorful meeting places for the hill tribes, spotlight for any Sapa Tours and of course, your unique Vietnam Tours experience. Minority people come down from the mountains to sell their products, or just for catching up on the latest news, gossip, drinking away troubles or seeking for lover. In the morning, drive to visit one of the areas weekly markets;

Day 8: Bac Ha Market – Vu Linh (180 km, 6 hours riding)

After breakfast, we drive to Vu Linh village of the Dao people by Thac Ba Lake which has an area of 23,400 ha and 1,331 islands and hills with diverse ecological environments. The water in the lake is blue and clear, and imprinted with the reflections of the surrounding ancient forest. Tonight, we will stay in the homestay with our friend’s family.

Day 9: Vu Linh – Hanoi (180 km, 6 hours riding)

Today we ride back to Hanoi, and finish the unforgettable adventure, free at leisure and Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 10: Hanoi Departure (B)

Free time at your leisure until transfer to air port for your departure fight.
