The Queen of the Mountains, Sapa sits regally overlooking a beautiful valley, lofty mountains towering over the town on all sides. Welcome to the destination in northwest Vietnam, gateway to another world of mysterious minority cultures and luscious landscapes.

Bac Ha Market has one of the most interesting ethnic markets in Vietnam and possibly everywhere in South East Asia: “Sunday is market day in Bac Ha, which is the occasion for the various local ethnics to gather in huge crowds to exchange the last news, gossip, shop, and eat a copious lunch. It was visibly a festive event. I was surrounded in a sea of color, and had the feeling to be on a movie set.

Thac Ba Lake – This artificial lake has an area of 23,400 ha and 1,331 islands and hills with diverse ecological environments. The water in the lake is blue and clear, and imprinted with the reflections of the surrounding ancient forest. The thousands of hills and islands feature caves such as the Hum, Cau Cuoi and Bach Xa. The Thac Ba Temple always draws visitors.

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Up on arrival at Noi Bai international airport, pick up by our guide then transfer to hotel for check in.Our guide will provide you with some information of the Vietnam motorcycle tours, Vietnam traffic rules, the bikes.. Dinner at Vietnamese restaurant.

Day 2: Hanoi – Mai Chau (160 km, 5 hours riding)

The Motorcycle Tours start with a ride to Mai Chau Valley.One of most beautiful valley in northern Viet Nam  .We pass through limestone monoliths and into foothills populated by Muong people. We head straight at the main range before breaching a high and beautiful forested pass, which descends into the hidden valley of Mai Chau where we spend the night with friends in a traditional Thai stilt house in a Thai village.

Day 3: Mai Chau – Son La (185 km, 6 hours riding)

After breakfast, we ride to Son La, a stop in Moc Chau with hundreds of giant grass farm for cows, You will know why this is the biggest milk centre in Vietnam, continue to Son La and enjoy the view of the Northern mountains, arrive in Son La at noon, check in hotel before visit “Son La prison” in the French war. Walk around the town and overnight in Son La.

Day 4: Son La – Muong Lay (200 km, 6 hours riding)

Heading out northwest from Son La, the road crosses a series of mountain passes and areas of busy Black Thai activity. Children walk to school, kids tend buffaloes, women plant rice seedlings and men pull the buffalo. Continue on scenic road to Muong Lay, a very lovely town by the bank of the Black River..

Day 5: Muong Lay – Xin Ho – Sapa (200 km, 7 hours riding)

Ride to Sa Pa, during your way, you will see  many different ethnic villages of the Lao, Lu, Black Dao, Tien Dao, Day, Red H’mong before driving up to the highest pass in Vietnam – Hoang Lien Son. Stop over at “Heaven Gate” for a wonderful view down to amazing valley and Fanxipang – the highest mountain in Vietnam (Roof of Indochina). You also visit “Silver Waterfall” – the nicest one in the area before getting to your hotel in Sapa.

Day 6: Sapa Tour

After breakfast, we will do one of the most beautiful Sapa Tours by driving to visit Lao Chai and Ta Van village of the Black H’mong and the Day people where you can enjoy fresh air, amazing scenery of the imposing mountain range, trek down world’s most beautiful terraced rice fields, visit some local family on the way and learn unique culture and life of these ethnic groups. Back to Sapa, free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 7: Sapa – Bac Ha Market (120 km, 4 hours riding)

The markets in the Northern Vietnam are always the colorful meeting places for the hill tribes. Minority people come down from the mountains to sell their products, or just for catching up on the latest news, gossip, drinking .In the morning, drive to visit one of the areas weekly markets;

Overnight in Bac Ha

Day 8: Bac Ha – Xin Man – Luc Yen (170 km, 5 hours riding)

After breakfast, we will continue our trip to Luc Yen via Xin Man where you will have opportunity to see some many beautiful mountains dotted with many ethnic villages. If it falls on Sunday, you can also visit a lively market in Sin Man. Continue to Luc Yen for overnight..

Day 9: Luc Yen – Vu Linh (65 km, 2 hours riding)

Morning ride to Vu Linh village of the Dao people by the side of Thac Ba lake which has an area of 23,400 ha and 1,331 islands and hills with diverse ecological environments. The water in the lake is blue and clear, and imprinted with the reflections of the surrounding ancient forest.

Day 10: Vu Linh – Hanoi (180 km, 6 hours riding)

After breakfast we ride to southeast on Highway 2 and then branch off to the sleepy town of Phu Tho. We follow the edge of the Red River along the dyke,Crossing the Black River by bridge, we pass through Son Tay and then return to Hanoi on the highway.

Day 11: Hanoi Departure (B)

Free time at leisure until our guide come to see you off  and transfer to the airport for your onward flight
