Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi City Tours (B/L)

Enjoy sightseeing tours to visit the city’s landmarks such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, The Temple of Literature (First University built in the 11 Century), Hanoi Hilton Museum (used to a prison). Continue your city tour with visits to Vietnam National History of Museum with good collection of prehistoric artifacts and everyday items of early history through eras and dynasties. Free walking around Hanoi old quarter for shopping and short visit Dong Xuan market. Enjoy 1 hour cyclo tours around the Hanoi City’s old quarters and the traditional water puppetry show. Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L/D)

Morning depart for Halong Bay, we go through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. This exciting four hour cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Transfer back to Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi – Hue (B/L/)

Transferring to the airport to catch morning flight to Hue. Check-in hotel upon arrival and take refresh for a while. This quiet city is widely known for the magnificent architecture of its citadels, palaces, royal tombs, pagodas and temples built under the Nguyen Dynasty. We visit the major sites including the Imperial Citadel with Forbidden Royal City like in Beijing. Free shopping in Dong Ba market.

Day 5: Hue – Danang – Hoi An (B/L)

Morning boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda and Ming Mang Emperor’s mausoleum. After lunch, drive to Hoi An, we will cross Hai Van Pass where you will have magnificent view of the China Sea. Stop at Lang Co to have break. Visit the fascinating Cham Museum, famous China Beach and the Marble Mountains en route to charming Hoi An. Known as Faifo to early Western traders, it was one of South East Asia’s major international ports and today it still retains that special old-world feel. Enjoy a walking tours. Visit JAPANESE COVERED BRIDGE PAGODA, SA HUYNH MUSEUM, TRAN FAMILY CHAPEL, PHUOC KIEN ASSEMBLY HALL Visit one of the lantern workshop in Hoi An. The framework of lantern will be made by the industry itself and clients with opportunity of making silk cloth on the lantern. Around the town we can see a numerous art galleries and tailor shops, get some made-to-order clothes if you like.

Day 6: Hoi An – My Son (B/L)

Excursion to My Son – Cham Holy Land, the sacred land of Vietnam’s most spectacular historic and religious site. Afternoon, return to Hoi An and rest of the day free at your own leisure on the beach.

Day 7: Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/D)

Free at leisure until transferring to Danang airport to take flight to Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam’s largest city has an exciting buzz as millions of people rush around on their daily business. You’ll be met and driven to your hotel.

In the afternoon,You’ll visit the Museum of War Remnants which provides a very partial, but riveting, perspective of the ‘American War’. You’ll visit Centre Post Office with colonial building and the Cathedral Church.Visit to lacquer workshop to see the complex processes and meticulous workmanship involved in this traditional Vietnamese craft product. If time permits, you’ll visit Thien Hau Temple and the China Town. End of the day with a visit Ben Thanh market, one of the liveliest areas of Ho Chi Minh City, is packed with every conceivable commodity

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L/D)

Day trip to the watery world of the Mekong Delta – My Tho. Excursion to My Tho with a boat trip to Mekong River islands from Saigon. My Tho, a bustling town in the rich agricultural region of the Mekong Delta. Visit the VINH TRANG PAGODA, a beautiful temple and a sanctuary for orphans and other needy children. Afterwards board a local boat to explore the MEKONG RIVER ISLANDS, stopping at a fruit orchard to enjoy fruit and tea while listening to local music and THOI SON islet. The trip also includes a brief sampan ride through the tiny waterways that thread the island. Enjoy local specialties for lunch. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh in the late afternoon. Dinner at Vietnamese restaurant.

Day 9: Saigon Departure (B)

Free at leisure until transferring to Tan Son Nhat airport to take departure flight onward. End of service.
